But at Monarc, we believe that there’s a better way to move through the world on two wheels, that is the exact reason we built our debut ebike: the Marker.

The Marker wasn’t designed to sit in a garage until the weekend. It was built to blur the line between city streets and nature. Whether you are commuting to work straight from a campsite, taking a joyride with your kids after school, or hitting aggressive singletrack to get your adrenaline fix, the Marker is engineered to handle it all without breaking a sweat.

We didn’t just want to build another piece of outdoor gear. We set out to design a highly capable, pragmatic tool that removes the friction between where you are and where you want to be.

High-End Specs Built for a More Capable Ride

To build a bike that transitions from the urban grid to deep backcountry trails, we knew we couldn’t rely on off-the-shelf, generic parts. Every millimeter of the Marker was engineered with intention, pairing heavy-hitting power with smooth, intuitive handling.

Here is a look under the hood at the hardware that drives the ride:

• The Gneiss Fork: At the front of the bike, we’ve equipped our proprietary reverse-arch suspension fork: the Gneiss Fork. Engineered in-house, it’s specifically designed to smooth out the bumps, roots, and technical chatter along the trail, giving you maximum control.

• Massive Power on Demand: At the heart of the Marker is a 750W motor that peaks at an incredible 1,638W. Paired with a wide-range Shimano CUES 9-speed drivetrain, you have the high-torque power needed to comfortably haul massive loads up steep hills.

• Dual-Battery System Standard: Power means nothing if you're constantly worrying about your charge. That’s why every Marker ships with two 720Wh batteries included with your purchase. This dual-battery setup doesn't just extend your range for spontaneous side quests; it effectively doubles the overall lifespan of your bike's power system.

• Unmatched Stopping Power: To slow you down from speed, the Marker features the Talon P4 4-piston front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, clamping down on massive 203mm and 180mm rotors respectively.

• 26" x 4" Kenda Tires: Rolling on massive fat tires, the Marker delivers traction across mud, sand, snow, and gravel. The nimble frame geometry combined with these grippy tires actively encourages you to hop off the beaten path whenever you spot a line of excitement.

• 3.5" Touchscreen Display: Up front, a beautiful, integrated touchscreen allows you to modify your bike's performance settings on the fly. It keeps you fully informed on how the machine is performing and supports over-the-air updates so your bike can grow with new software features down the road.

• Monarc App: The Monarc app is your digital co-pilot. Drop the map, leave the stress behind, and lean into the ride, we’ve got everything else covered. We know every mile has a story so here you can track how far your two wheels have taken you.

Versatile Utility Meets Clean Style

Thoughful design means a bike has to fit your lifestyle, not just your performance needs. The Marker features our custom, lightweight modular rear rack. It is fully compatible with standard panniers and MIK accessories and features open-source MOLLE slots to easily strap down anything from a backpack to a kayak paddle. If you want to leave the car at home, we’ve built the attachment points to make it happen.

Because great engineering should also look good, we’re launching the Marker to fit your exact style preference. It is available in two distinct frame styles, a traditional Step-Over and an approachable Step-Thru. With four Minnesota-inspired colors we can't wait to see the ride you choose.
