What Can You Do With the Monarc App?
Quite a bit right out of the gate! Once you create an account and pair your phone with your Monarc, you can:
- Tune how your bike rides
- Monitor battery information
- Adjust your speed limit
- Manage Smart Charge settings
- Track ride distance
- Store your bike’s serial number
- Add password protection
- View error codes and troubleshooting information
- Swap connected sensors
- Install over-the-air firmware updates
Can You Tune Your Monarc Ebike From the App?
Yes. Ride tuning is built directly into the Monarc app, giving you another way to adjust how your bike responds without digging through menus on the bike itself.
If, for example, you want a bit more assistance during your weekday commute so you don’t get sweaty or a little less on a long weekend ride to conserve battery, you can dial up or down the settings and focus on riding.
Does the Monarc App Help With Bike Maintenance?
The app can also tell you when something on your bike needs attention.
Error codes, bike-condition information (like your tire pressure if you add a TPMS system), and troubleshooting manuals all live in one place, so if something seems off, you have a simple starting point.
Firmware updates happen over the air, too. That means your bike can receive software improvements without a trip to the shop.
What Features Are Coming to the Monarc App?

Which Monarc Ebikes Work With the App?
The Monarc app is compatible with both high-step and step-thru versions of the Marker and Tracer.
For Apple devices, you’ll need iOS 16.0 or later. For Android, the app supports Android 10 through Android 16.
