Shimano Cues Drivetrain
A Shimano Cues 9-Speed Cassette and Rear Derailleur is a wide-range system designed for ebikes with a friction stabilizer that ensures extremely precise and smooth shifting. When paired with a hub motor, this durable setup easily handles high torque, significantly extending the cassette's lifespan.
Gneiss Reverse Arch Fork
Our in-house developed Gneiss forks offer 80mm of travel. Featuring a “reverse-arch” lower allows Monarc to achieve a lighter, stiffer, and stronger lower than traditional forks.
Talon P4 Brakes
To slow you down, the Tracer features the Talon P4 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes, clamping down on massive 203mm front and 180mm rear rotors for ultimate stopping power.

The Monarc Tracer Step-Thru is a fantastic e-bike right out of the box. Everything works flawlessly.
Having the spare battery and smart helmet included is a huge win—swapping batteries completely eliminates range anxiety on long rides. The 750W motor has plenty of hill-climbing power, the pedal assist is smooth, and the Shimano CUES 9-speed gears and 4-piston hydraulic brakes make for a high-quality ride.
The step-thru frame is easy to hop on, the center display is clear, and the ride is super comfortable. It’s about 70 lbs, but given the range, build quality, and extra accessories, it’s unbeatable. Highly recommended!

I’ve only had the bike for a week but it has surpassed my expectations regarding quality components, features and ride experience. I had a few minor misunderstandings regarding what the new bike display was capable in relation to its interaction with the smart helmet but as per usual the people at Monarc (and previously for me Lectric my first e-bike ) have been both courteous and extremely fast in responding. I weigh 265lbs and am 5’ 11” and this bike is amazing for my body type. I was nervous about being on the heavy side, but this bike makes me feel nearly weightless. It’s comfortable, has plenty of power when I need a little boost, and has helped me achieve my goal of spending more time outside exploring my city.

I'm not an expert but I've been in the e-bike game for several decades. My first bike was a kit that could only go 15 mph and ran out of steam after 4 miles. I mounted that on an old Schwinn Criss-Cross with bow tie handlebars mainly for my ex-wife to ride which she never freaking did so I ended up using it to commute to work. My second bike was a juiced rip current s I received just before the covid scam and put over 3,000 miles on it. They put an undersized controller on it so performance suffered especially with 4-in fat tires. My next bike was a Wired brand (formerly wicked) Cruiser model. It solved the shortcomings of the Rip Current S, but is basically a low powered motorcycle and doesn't handle anything like a bicycle.
Next I bought a Lectric XP4 folding bike. I'm a big guy I felt like a hog on a roller skate. The Monarc Tracer is the perfect balance of power and agility. I give it my highest recommendation, especially if you install Tannus Liners. Nothing sucks more than a flat on an e-bike.
Even with nearly four horsepower having the Wired Cruiser around I'm nearly always riding my Monarc Tracer now. Buy it. You'll be glad you did. Unless you just don't want any exercise at all then buy a low powered motorcycle which is really what the Wired e-bikes products really are.
